Jr. Computer/Network Support Tech.
We are seeking a talented Junior Computer/Network Support Technician to join our Information Technology team. This position reports directly to the Information Technology Manager to assist in further developing our information technology infrastructure through hardware and software implementations. The selected candidate will be provided with an opportunity for individual growth as well as building their team effectiveness skills.
JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Ensures systems and network availability to all end-users by monitoring, trouble shooting and responding to hardware and software issues and to become the first point of contact within the company should a hardware issue arise
> Configures and installs personal computers, terminals and peripheral equipment within the existing network
> Deploys server and personal computer application software upgrades as required
> Provides technical support and training to end-users
> Monitors file server backup schedules to ensure that successful completion status occurs
> Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
> Participates in special projects as required
> Documents and maintains an accurate document of all network equipment
> Identifies equipment for replacement within the current equipment life cycle
> Acts as a backup to the Systems Operator on a periodic basis
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Technologies and systems will include: Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2003, Office 2003, Office 2007, Active Directory, Internet Explorer, .NET Framework, Symantec Backup Exec, HP Small Business Server, Dell Workstations, Cisco Switches.??A diploma or degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience. Recent college graduates in this field of expertise will also be considered for this position.??2 years of directly related experience supporting computer / network operations
Experience with IBM AS400 / I-Series equipment and configurations will be a definite asset

Permanent Part-Time Cashier
We are looking for a qualified individual to join our cashier team. Our cashiers complete cash, credit card and refund transactions.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE:
> Minimum 2 years retail experience
> Efficient, polite, accurate and neat with positive, friendly attitude and excellent customer service skills
> Security awareness
> Good communication skills
> Must be available to work all store hours: days, evenings and weekends
